Women dress to impress for Chester Racecourse ladies’ night

WOMEN were dressed up to the nines on Tuesday for Chester Racecourse’s Ladies Night.

The stakes were high as the Roodee held its best dressed lady competition, with a £1,000 Trafford Centre gift card up for grabs.

Hollyoaks stars Ricky Whittle and Carley Stenson compèred the event and helped fashion judges from the Trafford Centre, Karen Millen, Coast and Dove Spa to select a winner.

More than 500 women registered for the competition and it was down to Ricky to select the 10 finalists, who were treated to a glass of champagne before being invited into the parade ring for the final judging.

Zoe Burns, from Liverpool, claimed the top prize.

It was Zoe’s first time at Chester Racecourse and she wore a floor-lengthŠ Kate Moss for Topshop dress, which she had queued outside the store from 4am to buy, and shoes by Terry de Havilland.

Zoe won a £1,000 Trafford Centre gift card, £500 Karen Millen voucher and £200 Coast voucher.

Additional prizes were supplied by Tessuti Woman, Dove Spa and Restaurant 1539.

Runners-up received tickets for the next race meeting.
