CYCLISTS are invited to take part in a variety of rides on Sunday.
Chester and North Wales Cycle Tours Club are running three rides of 25, 50 and 100 miles.
They start and finish at the Waverton Institute, Village Road (a continuation of Common Lane), Waverton, CH3 7QN near St. Peter’s Parish Church, OS 117 Grid Ref 461635.
25 mile ride, 11am: Easy one with few hills and one check point at the Cheshire Ice Cream Farm.
Entry adult £3, child £1.50.
50 mile ride, 10am: There are some hills but they are not too steep.
Entry fee covers the cost of lunch, and tea or coffee mid-morning, and at the end of the ride. Entry is £6.
100 mile ride, 9am: An interesting ride along quiet Cheshire lanes.
There are some steep hills.
Entry is £6 and covers the cost of refreshments during the ride and tea at the end.
You should not attempt this ride unless you know you are fit enough.
