CHESHIRE West and Chester Council has decided to make no appointment at present to the Cheshire County Playing Fields Association.
The association was set up to ensure that people of all ages, including those with disabilities, have access to outdoor facilities and opportunities to take part in a range of sports and recreational activities including children’s play.
The decision follows a review by the council of representatives sent to outside organisations.
Future representation will be discussed by director of regeneration and culture Charlie Seward and the Association.
