Mickle Trafford and District Parish Council makes progress with parish plan issues.

MICKLE Trafford and District Parish Council says work is ongoing on many issues in its parish plan.
Some headway has been made on road improvements and work is still in progress to secure funding for a new community centre.
At Trafford Mill, efforts are being made to obtain grants and funding.
It has also been decided to produce a new village design statement as it is thought the current statement does not go into enough detail.
The new statement will be treated as supplementary planning guidance and parish councillors in the village believe it may hold greater weight with the new Cheshire West and Chester Council.
