Mickle Trafford and District Parish Council handles 44 planning applications in 2008/09.

A TOTAL of 44 planning applications were dealt with by Mickle Trafford and District Parish Council during 2008/09.

The council's annual report says that of these 27 were in Mickle Trafford, 10 in Hoole Village, five in Wimbolds Trafford and two in Picton. There were none in Bridge Trafford.

Applications involved an outline planning permission for luxury houses including some affordable homes, a Travellers site for five caravans with permission granted for a further three years and approval for landfill at the Gowy site until November 2016.
