The event will be staged at Marbury Country Park, Comberbach, from 10.30am to 3.30pm by Greyhounds in Need and the North West branch of the Retired Greyhound Trust.
The Trust is a national charity dedicated to finding homes for greyhounds at the end of racing careers.
Trust member Sarah Homer said: “Whether you’re a greyhound owner or a dog-lover or just looking for an interesting day out, there will be something for everyone.
“There will be walks scheduled throughout the day around this area of outstanding natural beauty.
“The event will be an opportunity for anyone thinking about getting a dog to come along and meet a greyhound and talk to lots of owners.”

A REPRESENTATIVE is to be appointed by Cheshire West and Chester Council to Chester Aid to the Homeless.
The charity has told the council it believes working with an elected representative is important.
Former Chester City Council representative Bob Rudd said he would be willing to continue on a voluntary basis.
The charity provides night shelter and hostel accommodation, resettlement, a day centre, education and training.
The decision follows a review by Cheshire West and Chester of the city council's membership of outside organisations.Š
