A REPRESENTATIVE is to be appointed by Cheshire West and Chester Council to the council of Chester Cathedral.
A report points out the cathedral owns a large amount of property in the city centre and is deeply involved in regeneration and Chester Renaissance.
The cathedral council is also involved in planning for the cathedral and its land holdings.
Former Chester City Council representative Cllr Hilarie McNae has said she would be willing to continue.
The decision follows a review by the new council of the city council’s membership of outside organisations.Š
