ALYN and Deeside MP Mark Tami has promised to help improve life chances for children in the developing world by promoting access to education.
The Labour MP visited St Anthony’s Roman Catholic Primary School, Saltney, where pupils are taking part in the Send a Friend to School campaign.
The campaign aims to increase the number of teachers and classrooms for children living in poverty throughout the world.
This year’s theme required children to repaint the front door of 10, Downing Street.
The aim of the door design was to illustrate the need to open doors to better education for children across the world.
