Two men arrested and three taken to Countess of Chester Hospital after incident at Crowne Plaza Hotel in Chester

TWO men have been arrested after police were called to a disturbance at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Trinity Street, Chester, at 9.30pm last night (Thursday, May 7).

A 27-year-old from London is now being held on suspicion of affray and another male, also 27, is suspected of committing an assault.

A 48-year-old man from Hampshire received a head injury and was treated for his injuries at the Countess of Chester Hospital.

Two other men, a 47-year-old and a 39-year-old from Dubai, received minor facial injuries.

Further enquiries are being carried out by Cheshire Police including examination of CCTV footage.
