Award winning Chester cadet gets to dine with the Duke

A KING’S school cadet is to dine with Duke of Westminster after being nominated for a top award.

Company Sergeant Major Elizabeth Anderson, aged 18 from Oakmere was one of 215 nominations for the Duke of Westminster Award. She was judged to be in the top five cadets and won a trip to South Africa. The top five will attend a lunch in London, hosted by the Duke of Westminster when the winning cadet will be announced.

King’s school spokesperson said: “To be judged to be in the top five cadets in the country is a tremendous honour and everyone involved in the CCF here at the school are delighted with her success.”
