Chester schoolgirls to stage charity cycle ride in aid of war-torn Congo

TWO schoolgirls from Chester are getting their families behind them for a charity cycle ride.

Christleton High School pupils Georgia Dutton and Abby Brown, both 15, are setting off for a 75-mile trek to raise money for IPASC (www.ipasc.net), a charity that provides aid to people in war-torn Congo.

Georgia’s dad Carl Dutton and Abby’s dad Mark Brown will be cycling with them from Chester to Porthmadog in July.

Abby said: “Our mums will be following us in cars for support, so it will be fun.”

Georgia added: “We’ve been training really hard so hopefully we shouldn’t find it too difficult!”
