Upton Horticultural Society annual show results

UPTON Horticultural Society’s spring show was no April Fool.
The show, at the village hall was a colourful display of spring flowers, with pot plants, flower cuttings, flower arrangements and floral art.
Members with expert knowledge gave advice on the use of fertilisers and types of feed to attract favourite birds to the garden.
There were 17 individual winners and the Perpetual Challenge Cup for most points in the show was awarded to Mrs Nancy Turton.
Chairman of the society is Wendy Carman and the show committee was led by Bob Worboys.
