Garage fire in the Lache.

CHESTER fire crews were called out in the early hours of Monday to a garage fire in Lache.

At 2.30am crews arrived at Oldfield Crescent to find rubbish had been piled up against the side of a garage and was well alight. The fire had spread into the roof.

Part of the roof of the garage was destroyed and crews stayed at the scene for an hour to make sure the fire was completely extinguished and that the building was safe enough to leave.
