Chester MP judges Big Ben art competition

CHESTER MP Christine Russell invited schools across Chester to submit designs for a Big Ben 150th anniversary Christmas card on the theme of Parliament and Big Ben.

More than 200 entries were received and Pauline Renshaw, a senior art advisor in Cheshire, joined Mrs Russell and agreed unanimously that the overall winner from Chester is Muireall Scheibe, a Year 3 pupil at Belgrave Primary School, and the runners up are Emily Page from Victoria Infant and Oliver Irvine from Belgrave Primary.
