A man has sufferred head injuries after an early hours attack on Garden Lane.

A MAN has suffered head injuries after he was attacked on Garden lane in the early hours of Wednesday, April 15.

Police were called at 5.40am after reports of an assault.

A 42-year-old local man had been attacked and had suffered head injuries. He was taken to the Countess of Chester hospital.

Police believe a weapon was used in the assault.

A 48-year-old woman and a man were arrested in the area.

The 42-year-old is still being treated at the Countess of Chester Hospital.
