Girl threatened to jump off Saltney bridge.

POLICE and fire crews were called to a railway bridge in Saltney after reports of a female threatening to jump of a bridge yesterday (Monday April 13).
The police arrived at the bridge which links Saltney to High Ferry and found the young woman had clambered onto the railings of the bridge and was threatening to jump off.
Fire crews also arrived with their boat ready to pull the girl out if she jumped.
The police managed to coax the female off the bridge and take her to a place of safety. She was then taken to hospital in an ambulance.
