Man taken to hospital after assault in Frodsham

A MAN was knocked unconscious after an assault in Frodsham.
An ambulance was called to the Bears Paw pub, Main Street, Frodsham, at 8.55pm on Friday, April 3, after reports of an assault.
A North West Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "A man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital after a serious assault which left him unconscious."
A spokeswoman from the pub said she was aware of an incident but declined to comment any further.
