Man taken to Countess of Chester Hospital after Sandiway crash

A DRIVER was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital late last night, Thursday, after a car crash in Sandiway.

The 39-year-old man from Weaverham, near Northwich, was travelling along Kennel Lane towards Overdale Lane and Whitegate Way in his blue Fiat Stilo when he left the road and collided with a house after hitting a wall and fence.

Cheshire Police spokesman Dave Murray said: “As a result the driver received serious head and chest injuries, for which he is still being treated. His condition is being described as stable, and comfortable.”
