Chester motorist banned for 20 months for drink driving

A MOTORIST has been banned for 20 months and hit with a £550 fine after being convicted of drink driving.

Keith Paul Roberts, 45, of Heath Close in Great Boughton, was stopped in his Land Rover Freelander on January 27 in Westward Road, Chester.

He was found to have 85microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath, the legal limit being 35.

Mr Roberts can reduce the length of his ban by five months if he completes a drinking driving course. He was also ordered to pay £75 costs.
