Biker killed in collision with jeep on A49 between Tarporley and Whitchurch

A MOTORCYCLIST was killed when his bike collided with a Jeep on the A49 at Willey Moor yesterday morning (Sunday, March 15).
The 49-year-old rider from Manchester was pronounced dead at the scene of the collision shortly after 10.35am on Sunday.
His red Honda Fireblade was travelling towards Whitchurch when it hit a black Jeep driving towards Tarporley.
A Cheshire Police spokesman said: “Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision or any pre-incident driving of either vehicle to contact the specialist investigation unit at Crewe on 01244 613328.”
