A CHESTER man received a suspended sentence after he pleaded guilty to burglary.
Jarod Parkin, 34, of Hatton Road, received an eight-week custodial sentence but was spared prison and placed on an 18-month supervision order.
Parkin was also ordered to pay £250 compensation to the owner of the stolen items taken on January 26 from outbuildings at a house in Warrington Road, Chester.
Appearing at Chester and Ellesmere Port & Neston Magistrates Court, Parkin pleaded guilty to stealing items including tools, garden ornaments and crockery.
If Parkin does not comply with the 18-month supervision order, he was told by magistrates he will invoke the eight-week sentence.
