A HORSE was rescued after it got trapped in a fence.
Firefighters slowly cut away the fence, in a field off Liverpool Road, near to the Countess of Chester Hospital, to free the trapped equine in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, March 12).
A Cheshire Fire And Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We received a call at about 1am this morning. We had to cut away the fencing the horse was trapped in using small hand tools.”
