Tarvin Primary School celebrates World Book Week

ALIENS landed at a Chester school.

The extra-terrestrial visitors joined spacemen and robots at Tarvin Primary for the day to celebrate World Book Week.

Headteacher Jean Nield said: “We chose space as the theme for the day and school was full of all sorts of wonderful creations.”

Staff also joined in the fun and assistant headteacher Ruth Cadwallader turned up dressed as Buzz Lightyear.

Children are also taking part in a book swap, with any surplus books being donated to Oxfam.
