£3,000 WORTH of computer equipment was stolen from Upton High School in the early hours of Friday, February 27.
At 3am a burglar alarm set off by an intruder alerted the police to the incident at the school on St James Avenue.
The school had been entered at the rear of the premises.
A number of laptops were stolen which have been valued at £3,000.
A search was made of the area, but there was no sign of the offender.
