A BURST water pipe caused havoc at two ground floor flats in Blacon in the early hours of this morning (Friday, February 6).
Chester fire crews were called to the ground floor flats on Western Avenue at 1am after residents had been woken by water pouring in from the walls.
Two ground floor flats were flooded and fire crews spent three hours stopping the water and helping residents remove water and property from the flats.
Watch manager Spencer said: “We spent some time helping the residents of the two flats clear after the water had flooded the ground floor.”
