Police find body in Chester canal

A BODY has been pulled from Chester’s Shropshire Union canal in the same area that a man was found dead a fortnight ago.
A Cheshire police spokeswoman said: “Cheshire police were called to a report of a dead body discovered near Telford’s Warehouse at 2.20pm. Police and the underwater search unit are still on the scene.”
On January 14, Michael Guiney, 46, from Chester, was pulled from the Shropshire Union Canal close to a railway bridge near Telford’s Warehouse pub.
