Burglary warning from police to Chester businesses

CHESHIRE Police are asking Chester city centre business owners to be vigilant after an increase in burglaries.
Police report that offenders are gaining entry to city centre premises and taking petty cash so officers are advising a number of security measures to combat the increase in crime.
A police spokesman said: “Please help us prevent future offences ensure all ground floor windows are closed and locks fitted. Mark all your property with ultra violet pens or smartwater.”
