Chester pop star hopes for chart success this Sunday

A REGGAE sensation from Chester is hoping her new single La La La lifts her to the top of the charts this Sunday.

Pop starlet Ava Leigh – real name Hayley Carline – has joined up with Jamaican producers Sly and Robbie to create the rootsy La La La, available now.

The powerfully voiced 23-year-old – a former Chester Catholic High School pupil – said: “It would be great if people from back home could show their support and buy my new single, buy it, it’s ace!”

Ava’s latest single follows a successful summer which saw her support Lupe Fiasco and UB40 and clothes store Next use her cover of Samba hit Mas Que Nada on their TV advertising campaign.

La La La is available at all records stores and iTunes now. For more information visit www.avaleigh.co.uk.
