Man cut free from car after M53 crash in Cheshire

A MAN had to be cut free from a car on the M53 after two cars and a tanker crashed near Cheshire Oaks today (Friday January 2).
The northbound carriageway has been reduced to one lane after the smash, which involved a Volkswagen Polo, a Ford Puma and an empty tanker.
As a result, short delays are expected until the emergency services can clear the scene.
