A TALENTED cast of more than 100 pupils played in front of packed houses when they performed the gangster musical Bugsy Malone.
Students from St David’s High School in Saltney plus Broughton Juniors, Wood Memorial and Saltney Ferry primary schools were involved.
The show was produced by Anne Rushforth, head of creative arts at St David’s High, with the help and support of many staff and parents.
Ms Rushworth said: “Every time we put on a show we think it is our best yet and this year was no exception.
“The pupils never fail to deliver and their enjoyment is evident to all those watching the show. The last two months of hard work really paid off with a spectacular, fun week of performing enjoyed by performers and audiences alike.”
Principal players were: Ethan Jones (Bugsy Malone), Kate Weber (Blousey Brown), Michael Holder (Fat Sam), Lauren Faulkner (Tallulah), Ryan Morris (Dandy Dan), Luke Brown (Fizzy), Conal Bembridge-Sayers (Cagey Joe).
