‘Free advertisement’ for spa

I WAS very surprised to read that the opening of a Spa in Helsby was a front page item in the Frodsham and Helsby Chronicle last week, I would have thought that there were far more newsworthy items for it to feature.

You could argue that this item was more of a detailed advertisement for a new business than an item of local news. It raises the question was it paid for as would any normal advert in the body of the newspaper.

Of course any new business venture is to be welcomed in Helsby. However in the current situation anyone wishing to visit the Spa may well find great difficulty in parking.

Anyone planning a luxury day of relaxation therapy at this Spa I believe would soon find themselves stressed by the inability to find parking. At the best of times it is nigh on impossible to park in this part of Helsby.
