Homeless alcholic smeared excrement on Chester cell walls

A HOMELESS alcoholic has been jailed after he smeared excrement on the walls of a police cell.

Neil Barry McKibbon, 49, a former drug user who has an extensive list of previous convictions, was detained at Blacon police station after he was arrested for another offence on Sunday, November 23.

He was subsequently detained until his appearance at Chester Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, November 25, where he pleaded guilty to a charge of criminal damage.

Magistrates, conscious of his lengthy record and lack of income, sentenced him to one week in custody, minus the two days already served.
