Armed masked robber raids Chester shop

A MASKED man armed with a screwdriver robbed an Upton shop stealing cash from the till last night (Tuesday, November 18).
At 11pm a man wearing a mask which covered the whole of his face entered the Spar Shop on Long Lane armed with a screwdriver and demanded cash from the till. Afterwards he ran out of the shop on to the street.
A 20-year-old employee was unharmed during the incident.
Police spokeswoman Shelley Williams said the man was dressed in a white jacket and blue jeans.
