Man rescued from River Dee in Chester

A MAN was pulled from the River Dee in Chester at lunchtime on Saturday, November 15 by fire crews.

Police, ambulance crews and two appliances from Chester Fire Station were called to the River Dee, opposite Castle Drive at 1pm after reports of a man in the river.

A crew manager said: “We were ready to launch the boat, but in the end we assisted the male from the water. He was then taken to hospital by the ambulance.”
