Hoole Bridge to partially close for a weekend

CHESTER’S Hoole Bridge is to be partially closed over a weekend period so ScottishPower can carry out emergency repair work to a high voltage cable.
The outward-bound carriageway will be closed from 6.30pm on Friday, November 21 until 6.30am on Monday, November 24.
Traffic will be directed out of the city via the A51 Tarvin Road.
The footway on the outward bound side of the bridge will be excavated and about 15 metres of cable will be replaced. Work is expected to continue through Friday and Saturday evenings.
