Helpers tidy up school

PARENTS and teachers at a Chester primary school put in a team effort to give the building a facelift.
More than 20 volunteers tackled maintenance around Acresfield Primary School, Acres Lane, Upton on Saturday, October 25.
Headteacher Mike Dixon said: “It was great, a real community effort – even though the rain came they were not put off.
“Special thanks must go to staff members Mrs Blaikie and Mrs Sadler, who served bacon sandwiches and hot drinks to keep everyone going.”
