Agatha spoof to draw crowds

A VILLAGE drama group is aiming to draw in the crowds with what is billed as the ultimate Agatha Christie spoof.

David Tristam's Inspector Drake's Last Case, in rehearsal by Guilden Sutton Players for a four-night run later this month, features the incompetent detective suitably hampered by the aptly-named Sgt Plod.

Director Anna Morris has based the look of the Players' Autumn production on a game of Cluedo, with each ‘suspect’ having a specific colour.

The production runs from Wednesday, November 19 to Saturday, November 22 at 7.45pm in Guilden Sutton Village Hall.

Tickets, priced £7/£6, can be obtained from Guilden Sutton Post Office, or by calling Anna Morris on 01244 300034.
