A BODY has been found in the River Dee at Chester this morning (Wednesday, November 5).
The grim discovery was made just after 8am in the Queens Park area of Chester. Emergency services are still at the scene and enquiries are currently ongoing.
Three fire engines, the fire service boat and an ambulance were called to the scene. Investigations have been taking place around the Meadows area and near the Boathouse pub.
A passer-by based in the area said: “I left here about 8am, came back from the bank and in that half an hour, all this happened.”
