FUNDRAISERS are going sky high to raise money for needy children.
The Children in Need event at Tarporley Community Centre on Sunday, November 1, will be opened in style as – weather permitting – Pudsey himself will arrive in an open- topped car.
Organiser Kay Drewitt, who runs an aerial photography business with her partner, has arranged a prize to remember.
The couple own a Cessna 172 high-winged light aircraft and will take the winner on a half-hour flight over Tarporley, or wherever they live.
Kay, who is advertising the event in Tarvin, Kelsall and surrounding parishes, said: “We’ll fill the community centre with activities. We have a photographer so children can have their photograph taken with Pudsey.
“Pudsey will drive around the village surrounded by balloons.”
For a chance to win a flight, turn up on November 1 at 1.30pm.
