Country Spice in Hope hosts Bangladeshi ministers
A DELEGATION of ministers from Bangladeshi government agencies were welcomed to the Country Spice restaurant in Hope for a celebratory dinner.
The event was hosted by Cheshire and Flintshire businessman Shamsuddin Ahmed MBE and his wife Ayesha Ahmed JP.
The Bangladeshi ministers are visiting Manchester University as guests of the Government and looking at areas including education, the health service and the work of local government.
Among the guests were Chester Lord Mayor Brian Bailey and his wife Raewyn and Wrexham deputy mayor Arwel Jones and his wife Mair and representatives of the police, Crown Prosecution Service, local voluntary sector organisations and Bangladeshi community.
