M6 crash: Driver charged with dangerous driving

A PORTUGUESE lorry driver involved in Monday’s M6 horror crash which killed a family of six is due to appear at Crewe’s Magistrates Court at 3pm today (Thursday, October 23).

Paulo Jorge Nogueira De Silva, 46, of Spain, has been charged with six counts of causing death by dangerous driving following the death of David and Michelle Statham and their four children, Reece, 13, Jay, nine, Mason, 20 months and Ellouise 10-weeks-old.
