Chester biker in hospital after lamp post crash

A 31-YEAR-OLD was taken to hospital after crashing his motorbike into a lamp post.

The smash happened at 6.40pm on Sunday, October 12 when the man, who was riding a blue Yamaha motorcycle, collided with the post on Hoole Lane. No other vehicles were involved.

The man was taken to the Countess of Chester Hospital, where his condition is described as “serious, but not life-threatening”.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with any information should call 0845 4580000.
