Toddler group at Blacon Children’s Centre celebrates first birthday
IT WAS party time at Blacon Children’s Centre when parents and children gathered to celebrate the first birthday of a thriving parent-led toddler group.
The group, which is based at Blacon Children’s Centre in Carlisle Road, is led by parent volunteer Emma Ryan and takes place each Wednesday from 10am-noon.
During the session there are lots of opportunities for children to play and time for parents to socialise.
Part of the success of the group is the toy lending library, where children can choose a toy to take home for 50p a week.
For more information about the group, or any other service offered at the centre, call 01244 382235.
