On crest of wave over buying business

A KELSALL hair salon is under new ownership and staff are hoping the business will be a cut above the rest.

Julie Ellams, of Tarvin, started life as a hairdresser on the same premises but since turning 40 she has decided to buy the salon and run it herself.

The Village Hair Salon, on Church Road North, used to be called The Little Salon but has since been expanded and Julie is opening her doors to the village.

She said: “Things are going really well, we’re very busy. I am fortunate to have loyal clients from Chester, Tarporley and Kelsall but our doors are open to the whole village, young and old.”

Former Tarporley High School pupil Julie has more than 20 years’ hairdressing experience and has just one other member of staff although another will be added in the run up to Christmas.
