CHESHIRE Police Authority is holding a ‘Have Your Say’ meeting for Chester residents on Tuesday, October 14 at 7pm at the Barbour Institute in Tattenhall.
Chairman of the meeting Sue Proctor said: “These public meetings are an important way to influence how policing services are delivered. At the meeting, we will be asking people what their priorities are for policing which will help us to decide the objectives for the Chief Constable next year.
“There will also be a chance to find out about how people can get more involved in making their communities safer by volunteering to help the Constabulary. There will be a talk about community volunteering opportunities and the work of the Special Constabulary.
“These meetings allow people from across Chester to have a say and to make a difference so it is vitally important they come along to raise any policing matters of interest or concern with the officers responsible for policing in the area.
“Have Your Say meetings are open to residents from all parts of the Chester district and I look forward to seeing as many as possible at the Barbour Institute.”
