Have your say on new Cheshire council action plan

THE Cheshire West and Chester Shadow Council has invited residents across the area of the new authority to have their say about the future of area and neighbourhood working.

The online and postal consultation is now coming to the end of its three-month period and this week is the last chance for you to put your points across.

The deadline for taking part is Tuesday, September 30. All contributions will be considered as the new authority creates actions plans for area and neighbourhood working.

The consultation concentrates on the development of area programme boards and their boundaries. Once established, these boards will work at a local level to address issues that are important to residents.

The authority is keen to ensure that face-to-face contact is maintained and increased, meaning that the council will be working to address the needs of local people.

You can take part in the consultation by completing the online form at www.cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk or, if you would like a hard copy, please contact Fiona Dunning, email: LSP@valeroyal.gov.uk or ring 01606 867524.
