Stars tee off to aid hospice
FOOTBALLING legends turned out for a charity golf day in aid of a hospice for children and young people.
The day was organised at Chester’s Mollington Golf Club by The Wirral Witches who conjure up much needed funds for Claire House.
The results of their efforts have included a new playground and a log cabin for the garden at the hospice.
A number of former Liverpool players, including Jan Molby, Phil Thompson, Bruce Grobbelar and Phil Neal, were involved in the day which culminated in a gala dinner, raffle and prize presentation.
Claire House cares for children and young adults up to the age of 23 who have terminal and life-threatening illnesses, providing them and their families with help and support when they are most needed.
