Fun ahoy on school’s ship
YOUNGSTERS at one Chester school couldn’t wait to get back after the holidays.
The reason – a pirate ship had arrived and anchored in the grounds.
The ship is part of a spectacular new playground at The Arches Community Primary in Blacon.
Headteacher Michelle Ashfield says that following the removal of two mobiles, space has been found for a new outdoor classroom along with the pirate ship and climbing equipment.
Not surprisingly it is a hit, says the head.
