Festival to help Uganda

CHARITABLE women from Huxley are building an international relationship with a village in Uganda.

The group has decided to hold a Septemberfest to raise money for the Kimbula Rural Development Programme.

Christine Hunt, who has helped organise the event, said: “This village to village fundraiser will have morning coffees, light lunches and lots of interesting goods for sale including home-made cakes, preserves, manor farm foods, sweets, cards, books, jewellery, white elephant and more.

Everybody is invited to come along to the event which will be held on Saturday, September 27, at Hargrave Church Hall, Hargrave, 10am-2pm.
