Let’s go fly a kite

CHESTER teams up with the Northern Kite Group for the annual Chester Kite Festival on September 20-21 at the Roodee.
This popular event will include internationally acclaimed exhibition flying – synchronised acrobatics, altitude sprint, one man flying three kites and a host of truly spectacular kite designs.
There’s also the famous bear drop so bring your bear along for a parachute jump he won’t forget while you have a go on the climbing wall. Bring your own kite or make one there.
The event takes place from 10am-5pm both days. Free entry. Parking £3.50 all day. Ring 01244 320368 for details.
